RICE BURGER

Ingredients

1 cup medium grain rice             Fried tempe/tahu; sliced thin

2 cups water                                Fried egg, sunny side up

1 cup olive oil / margarine         Tomato ketchup, chilli sauce, mayonnaise

¼ cup sesame seeds, toasted    Tomato and cucumber, sliced thin

  Method:

·Cook the rice as it should in a rice cooker

·When it’s done, take about a palmfull of  cooked rice and shape it like a

burger bun. Make two buns. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to set.

·Heat oil in a frying pan over a medium heat, gently place rested rice bun

in the pan and cook  it until crispy and golden. Transfer to a plate with

sesame seeds.

·Put fried tempe/tahu and fried egg along with tomato and cucumber

slices between the buns; don’t forget to smear enough sauces. Serve

immediately.
