Part 2 Tugas X MM-C

Question tags

Contoh:
Kalimat:- She speaks English.
Pertanyaan:- Does she speak English?
Question Tag:- She speaks English,
doesn’t she?

Bentuk
  • That’s a great song, isn’t it?
  • She’s a lawyer, isn’t she?

Jika kalimat negatif, kita gunakan tag positif. Contoh:
  • You‘re not busy, are you?
  • This way isn’t right, is it?

Contoh:
  • He can play the trumpet, can’t he?
  • You haven’t finished yet, have you?

Contoh:
  • Intonasi menurun - You haven’t finished yet, have you?

  • Intonasi meningkat - You haven’t finished yet, have you?

  • You’re really busy now, aren’t you? - Yes, I’ve got to finish this by Monday.
  • Why are you watching TV? You’re really busy now, aren’t you? - Not really, I did most of it last night.

  • You don’t have a pencil, do you?
  • You couldn’t change a $5 bill, could you?

Question tag yang memerintah biasanya menggunakan will, contoh:
  • Open the door for me, will you?
  • Hang on a minute, will you?

Jadi.... hati-hati memakainya yaaaa......

LATIHAN

Describing Process

Dear Students....
How are you doing today? I hope you have the best time at school....

Describing a Process or a Procedure

  • Process: How something happens, takes place. Often uses Passive tenses
  • Procedure: Giving Directions or Instructions. Usually in Active voice
Contoh:
Popcorn is something you often eat when you
watch a movie at a cinema. It is very easy to
make perfect popcorn if follow the correct
procedure.
First, put three tablespoons of oil in a large pot.
Then, heat the oil on a high flame until one
kernel of popcorn pops when you drop it into the
hot oil. Now, pour a quarter cup of popcorn into
the pot and cover the pot with a lid. Reduce the
flame and gently shake the pot. Continue
shaking until the corn has popped. Finally,
empty the popcorn into a large bowl and add
melted butter and salt.
As you can see making popcorn is very simple if
you follow the steps above. Enjoy your movie!
Task : (Individu)
See the diagram below and write down the process in a piece of paper to be
submitted to me.... As individual task.
Judul : HOW TO MAKE BOTTLED ORANGE JUICE
Okay... I will wait for your work... Thanks and good luck. :)
